Our social enterprise ELITE Clothing Solutions featured on BBC Wales Today to discuss the production of medical scrubs.
Following the announcement by Welsh Government that ELITE Clothing Solutions and other Welsh organisations will be producing medical PPE for the NHS, we've seen a positive response from the public, ministers and health professionals.
Since the start of March, more than 126 million pieces of PPE have been used in Wales due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as reported by Welsh Government.
In response to this, Wales’ First Minister announced in April, plans to create a "Made-in-Wales supply chain for PPE".
There are now 50 suppliers across the country. ELITE Clothing Solutions were one such Welsh manufacturer which commenced production of medical scrubs for front-line workers
ELITE Clothing Solutions are now hoping that the supply chain will remain in Wales post Covid-19 to rejuvenate the local economy.

A look at how our team celebrated Volunteers' Week 1st June - 5th June.
Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering. This takes place the first week of June every year and is a chance to celebrate the contribution millions of volunteers make across the UK.
We wanted to thank all our volunteers, new and old, who contributed many hours of support, experience and skills in their roles throughout the year. We also shared how our volunteers have adapted amazingly during these difficult times by introducing Virtual Volunteering which provides much needed participant support via Teams or Zoom.
Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes, and the community, but the benefits can be even greater for you, the volunteer. The right match can help you to find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career.
