The project offers tailored one-to-one support to individuals seeking meaningful volunteer roles, and provides free disability awareness training and practical guidance to voluntary organisations to help them create welcoming, accessible environments for all.

Peer Mentors
Are you a disabled person living in Bridgend? If you want to use your experience to help others change their lives for the better, becoming a Peer Mentor with the Involved Project could be just the opportunity you're looking for.
Our Peer Mentors are role models and friendly guides who support our volunteers as they take part in their placements. You don't need any special qualifications to be a peer mentor. We'll make sure you have all training and support you need, and your expenses will be covered..
