After 30 years of building and leading our amazing charity our Group CEO will be retiring in October 2024. We are therefore seeking a strong, inclusive, and credible leader with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels, both internally and externally.  If you are a positive, forward-thinking individual who is passionate about improving services for disabled people or those at a disadvantage and would like a new challenge we invite you to apply for this exciting role.


Our Trustees play a vital role in the oversight of the charity ensuring that it delivers against its charitable objectives, is financially sustainable, has strong governance and safeguards the name and values of the organisation. We are seeking new Trustees to work with the current Board members and Executive team in helping us to realise our ambitious vision and strategic objectives.


We are looking for people willing to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, and who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our Board. As well as a shared commitment to our vision we'd love to have more trustees from all backgrounds who represent the communities we serve. We are looking for professional experience in the following areas:

  • Financial Management at a strategic level
  • HR Management at a strategic level
  • Knowledge of a Supported Employment service as a user
  • Environmental background
  • Manufacturing background


Although we would welcome people with experience working for or with charities, if this is your first time as a Trustee, we will provide a robust induction and support every step of the way.
