What Is A Green Career?

Green careers are all about jobs that help protect the planet and create a better future for everyone. Whether it’s working in renewable energy, improving how we heat our homes, reducing waste, or protecting nature—green careers are at the heart of tackling climate change.

These jobs are important because they help fight climate change. Wales wants to be net zero (no harmful emissions) by 2050. That means lots of new jobs will be needed!

To thrive in these roles, you’ll need green skills—that means having the knowledge, values, and attitudes to make choices that reduce harm to the environment.

These skills are becoming more important than ever as we move toward a more sustainable way of living.

If you care about the planet and want a job that makes a real difference, a green career through SustainAbility could be your perfect next step.
